Here is a local version of the Osana (Holy, Holy, Holy) according to the choir at Alangad Church. Paulose Pallikkara is the choir leader at this Church. The melody, which might have been composed in Kerala, is complex with different sections in different rhythmic styles. This recording will be useful for comparative study of similar melodies in the versions of other Syriac choirs in Kerala.
