"Puqdaankon" (Syriac, "Your mandate"). Music practice for the solemn celebration of the Syro-Malabar Qurbana at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception (http://nationashrine.com), Washington, D. C., on 7 September 2013. The regional practice for singers (Diocesan Youth Apostolate of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Diocese of Chicago) from the Tristate area was held at the Blessed John Paul II SyroMalabar Mission in Garfield, NJ, under the leadership of Dr. Joseph Palackal (http://TheCMSIndia.org/palackal.html) and George Thaila (composers). 19 July 2013. George Thaila sings the Celebrant's part.
