Syriac song for Palm Sunday.
The talented young CMI seminarians at Dharmaram College, Bengaluru, continue to create new chants in Syriac. This chant is for Palm Sunday in the voice of Bro. Joby Vadayattukuzhy, CMI. Bro. Thomas Kappil Puthusseril wrote the lyrics and composed the melody. One can only appreciate the audacity of these talented youngsters to venture into an unchartered territory of music in a foreign language, with great enthusiasm. By doing so, they are adding to the treasury of Syriac chants of the Syro Malabar Church. We wish them the very best.
