Notes

Relevance of Oriental/ Syriac Theology

PART - IV Rev. Dr. Paul Maniyattu in conversation with Fr. Joseph Palackal,CMI. At Paurastya Vidyapitam, vadavathoor, kottayam on 27 July 2023
In this segment of the conversation, Rev. Dr. Pauly Maniyattu talks about the unique perspective of Syriac theology. The Syriac fathers developed a different way of thinking about the Sacraments, especially Qurbana. The Epiclesis in Qurbana, for example, is not only for the sanctification of the Bread and Wine, but also of the worshippers. We are grateful to Dr. Pauly Maniyattu for spending his time and sharing his thoughts.
